Ok, has anyone besides me completely missed the boat on Sideways???
This movie is a sophomoric "guy" flick.

what guy doesn't fantasize about going off on a trip, getting laid totally without regard for the woman involved, and trying to stay drunk for as long as possible???

I do NOT this this film deserved anything except honorable mention as a well put together independent.

Its sad that truly WONDERFUL performances from Virginia Madsen and Paul Giamatti and Thomas Hayden Church are wrapped up in a terrible story like this.
